Terms of Use

These terms apply to the AutoGST website (autogst.app) and the AutoGST apps for Android and iOS (together, "AutoGST"). By using AutoGST you agree to them.

1. What AutoGST does

AutoGST helps you record sales and purchases, read invoices with AI, and prepare GST return files (such as GSTR-1 JSON and Excel) that you review and upload on the GST portal yourself. AutoGST does not file returns for you unless you explicitly use a feature that says so and confirm it.

2. Not a government service

AutoGST is a private product. It is not a government app and is not affiliated with the Government of India, GSTN or the GST portal.

3. Your responsibility

• Check every entry, tax amount and file before you use it. AI reading of invoices can be wrong.
• You are responsible for the returns you file, their accuracy and their due dates. When in doubt, consult a Chartered Accountant or tax professional.
• Keep your sign-in secure and do not share your account.

4. Accuracy and liability

GST rates, due dates and rules change. We work to keep them correct but give no guarantee. To the extent the law allows, AutoGST is not liable for penalties, interest, losses or decisions based on its output. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

5. Free plan and limits

AutoGST has a free plan with daily limits on some AI features. Your own data — entries, exports and reports — always stays available to you.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse AutoGST: no unlawful use, no fake invoices, no attempts to break, overload or reverse-engineer the service, and no use of other people's GSTINs without permission.

7. Your data

Your data belongs to you. How we handle it is described in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account and data in the app: Settings → Advanced → Delete My Account.

8. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; we will show the new date above and tell you in the app about important changes. You can stop using AutoGST at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
